With large gatherings being canceled until further notice, streaming has become our main source of musical entertainment. With so many artists streaming everyday, it can be overwhelming to keep up with all the options. Here are some resources to help you in your musical search!
IAmAvl has been streaming local Asheville Shows since way before the pandemic. They have an extensive archived collection of shows dating all the way back to 2012, and they are currently restreaming some of those shows live. You can find upcoming events at this link.
ShowCal.Club is a community calendar created by Greg Cornell that features dates for shows in large cities like Chicago, DC, and New York. Because of recent events, a live stream tab has been added. The best part about this calendar is that it is collaborative. If you know of a show that isn’t listed, you can add it.
LiveMusicAsheville.com Is posting live stream information for local Asheville acts. It is important to continue to support our community, and the smaller artists that are being affected by this pandemic. Check out this calendar to discover local talent.
Of course larger organizations like JamBase and NPR are keeping us up to date on the larger acts that are participating in the live stream trend.
Let’s grow this list and continue to support the artists! Comment below any resources or livestreams you know of!
